Help 92 EG with Sohc Vtec-E
car cranks but doesnt turn over has a really hard time starting, and it backfires flames from the intake manifold, i tried messing with the timing by moving the distributor left and right, but doesnt fix the problem, also cleaned the spark plugs, checked to see if the injectors were ok new gas and resolder the main relay. everything seems fine except oil seems to smell like gas. car turns over when i keep cranking it, but it takes awhile and still shoots flames.

Oil smelling like gas = BAD, Change it first and foremost. You have the plugs going to the dizzy in the right order?
