HELP:92-dx head taller than the a6 head?
my friend bent his valves in his 90 ex with an a6.. he wanted it running asap so i swapped it over for a 93 dx head.. the car doesnt start anymore.. it's getting spark and fuel.. but... the weird thing is that when i pull the plugs after i tried to crank it, its fouled with fuel... i know it sparks cuz i did a test on it... it seems as if the spark plug wire isn't reaching the spark plugs, making it so it doesn't spark.. so.. is the dx head taller than the a6 head? i tested a few plug wires and the old ones dont reach down far enough for the plugs.. what do you guys think?

i was thinking the same thing.. okay.. the car doesnt start anymore.. this is not the first head i have put on.. but like i had posted.. the old plug wires dont reach down far enough to get to the spark plugs now.. that put me in a loop.. so i put on some b-series plug wires.. they went in like they fit, but the plugs are getting fouled... i pulled out the plugs, did a spark test, and the car sparks.. put the plugs back in, car wont, check plugs and they are fouled.. hmm and they are in right firing order.. cam timing is correct.. like i said before... ive done more than 15 heads and this is the only time this has happened.. it's making me frustrated... err...
