I painted my valve cover put it back on and now she won't start the ground is good and nothing. any idea's

...... you really should read the stickies before posting...also it could be a number of things... post more info. like is the fuel pump priming?? does the starter try to turn the motor over? clicking from the main relay? all fuses in check? need more info...

we hooked jumper cables up to my friend's truck and the under hood fuse box "all fuses good under hood" clicks nothing from the starter when u try to crank it. im not sure about the fuel pump.
