help!
i just got my car back form the shop for the millionth time because i got sold a lemon its a 95 civic ex it finally runs right but afte rlike a hour of driving it the temp gauge goes up to almost red and the gas pedal feels weird like the cars not getting gas right away ill iht the pedal and the rpms wont go up for like a second and it only does that when it starts to overheart but then out of nowhere the temp gauge drops back down help me out guys im a delivery boy i need a car

Weird.
A) Is it throwing any check engine lights?
B) It sounds sorta like your rad is partially blocked off..but you'd start seeing issues a lot less than after an hour of driving, and it wouldn't come back down outta nowhere unless the blockage is moving.
Try flushing your coolant system, see if you notice anything about how fast the water's moving and such. If you stick a garden hose in the rad cap w/ the hoses disconnected and the petcock off - it should all drain out the petcock opening (it shouldn't back up and overflow through the rad cap).
Same with the block & heater core.
Next time you're driving and this happens, turn on the heater (combination valve to full hot + fan on highest setting), see if that makes a difference.

ill have the system flushed but would that affect the gas it like bogs down its like trying to take of in third gear but its really firts its like my engine getting so hot it wont throw out power
