Which helms manual do I buy?
I'm trying to buy a helms manual on helminc but there are just so many. I'm looking for one that is for a 92-95 civic. My year is a 92 and they have a manual for a 92... They also have a 93 and a 94-95... I was wondering if there was just ONE single manual for 92-95.
Or should I just buy the one a 92

Get the one for your year. I believe it's the shop manual that you're in search of. It's listed at I think $68 or $78. It's been awhile since I've looked.

Hmm. The only 94-95 manual I see is the Spanish shop manual.
I am a little confused though - what the hell is the difference between a service manual and a shop manual? They're the same price, just different part#s. I have a sneaking suspicion they're basically the same thing, one has just been revised since 1992/93/94/95.
Anyway, I'd get the shop manual for your car's model year. Honda does change things around from year to year, which is why I have a 1996 shop manual and a 1997 supplement that contains everything that changed in 1997. It'd be a shame to spend that kind of cash and end up with information that doesn't apply.
I get tripped up from time to time when exclusively relying on the shop manual, then I kick myself and dig out the supplement. If all I had was the manual I'd have to jury-rig something on my own, and that never goes well for me.
