Hi, there's some oil on my block and tranny. I just repaird the vtec selenoid and I don't see a reason to be the head gasket any suggestions ? Ooh and. Looking for a helms manual for a b16 any clues where could I get one ?

Buy a Helms manual from Helms. I believe you can buy them through Honda too. Look for one for the '96-'00 Civic or the '93-'97 del Sol.

Have you eliminated the dizzy o-ring, dizzy oil seal, and valve cover gasket? Best thing to do is clean the engine and tranny thoroughly, drive a while, then try to trace the leak.

B16A? B16A1? Just B16? If you have a JDM swap, then the helm manuals for sale (all American Honda) at www.helminc.com are not going to nail it though some certainly may help. Ebay.com also often has shop manuals for sale. autozone.com has free online manuals specific to many USDM Honda models and covers a lot of ground, too.

People post excerpts from Helm manuals all the time here and TPTB have decreed this is okay, per their understanding of copyrights. TPTB do forbid linking to sites who appear to violate Helm copyright by offering free Helm manual (the whole manual) downloads.

FWIW I have scoured the net looking for a JDM non-vtec D15B shop manual (I want cam specs and from the proverbial horse's mouth) and turned up nothing. Even the Japan-based sites (in Japanese, so google translator or similar is needed) had nothing.
