Default Heater problem

I own 96 hatch. My heater works in my car, but it ONLY come through the 4 top front vents. If I switch to the low or both or defrost. nothing changes. I cant even use my defroster. Is there anyway to fix this or anyone know what the problem may be?

thanks

//Jesse

sounds like the cable behind your heater controls came off,take the radio out and see if its still attached, otherwise im sure whatever machanism (little motor i assume) that move those has gone south.

if the switch is electric (button rather than arm) then its probably the motor that powers the selector door for your vents.
