heater problem
it's cold and my heater no workie.
yes i did a search, no i do not have coolant in the passenger floor. i did find that the valve that the cabin controls opens and closes don't move with the cabin controls and i'll fix that when it's not so cold outside. i manually put the valve to open and duct taped it in place for the time being and still no heat. any ideas? i've gone through about all i can think of.

Re: (jlacoy82)
northern va... temps have been around ~10-20 lately, but it's been this way ever since it first started cooling off and i really didn't think anything of it. IIRC the coolant going into the heater coil should be ~180F and it seems that the hose going into that valve gets warm enough from the coolant at idle. the coil just never heats up. with my luck it's probably that valve that's fuckered. anyone know what that valve is called?
