Heater control unit

I have a 92 civic DX , now my problem is , when I turn the car off the heater control unit stays on . I changed the unit and still the same problem . What could be causing this. Need help ASAP , this situation is draining my batteries over night.

you can always re-wire the power to a 12v switched and put in a switch.. I don't know why it is recieving constant voltage though...

i know there r 3 relays located under the hood , ur saying changing those would fix the problem.
Would the relays cause the heater control unit to stay on all the time?
