Re: heater blowin cold air (Ricey McRicerton)
i had the same problem, i didnt get in a wreck, but when i bought the car, the heater wasnt working all that well, and as part of the purchase, the dealer said they would replace the heater core. i got it back and it was better but not good, and i found out from them that someone had put liquid glass in the coolant as well as bars leaks. the two cause the coolant system to get all messed up and the car was overheating. so after being in the shop 5 times trying to get this worked out, they finaly told me to deal with it my self. so i went to the car wash and unhooked both lines going into and out of the heater core, and blew the heater core out with high pressure. after that, my heater now blows hotter air than my wifes 99 corolla. thats my experience.
