Heat problem
Hi folks,
It’s been a while since I have posted in this forum until now, my car has a problem. This week’s temperature is at an average of 50-60 degrees. My car is a 1994 Honda Civic Ex, all stock.
Recently, my temperature gauge is at a normal operating until 2 days ago. When it was still at an operating temperature, I blasted the heat but none of it can be felt until 10-15 minutes later.
Now today, it went from normal and all of a sudden, the needle jumped up almost close to the HOT. I have done the same thing by blasting up the heat but only a little amount of heat came and then a minute later, more of it finally came out.
I notice that smoke was coming out from the radiator reservoir but not the tail pipe. Has anyone had a similar experience to this before I start wrenching on my car? I’m thinking maybe it’s the thermostat that is stuck.
Thanks
