looking through some pics in the ej8 thread and was wondering about the headlight glow. some lights are on inside the main bulb area but theres no way that the actual head light is on? are there aftermarket housings with a little running light bulb? thanks in advance

I believe you are referring to JDM city lights. They are easily installed with the correct headlight housing, otherwise it takes some fabrication. If you are interested in city lights, do yourself a favor and buy the correct headlights. Also, for a true JDM look, don't forget to set up your corners with the same city light treatment.

so i need to buy correct lights...but i dont know which ones are correct? i dont know what you mean by getting the same set up for corners? any help/picturers/links would be helpful to this noob

basically any headlights other than USDM ones, haha.

JDM, UKDM, Canada?, whatever other markets there are.

gotcha...thank you. how would one go about matching the corners? does he just mean wiring in the running lights with the corners?

i have no idea what he meant by 'matching corners' maybe matching the corner bulbs to the ones in the city lights?

there talking about CTR lights with the city light built in.
you can buy a city light socket and add it in to your stock light if you want.
ctr lights can be bought new for anywhere bewteen 400-500

and all you would have to do is wire them in with the parking light or buy the harness

SIR headlamps also have city light's.. as do other regular *** stock headlamps for other markets, reason being.. that's what they use for "parking lights" the corners only light up when signaling.

i was just letting the OP know that he doesn't have to buy CTR headlamps for 4bills to have city lights. even though if it were me, i would buy them.

I meant that in Japan, when city lights are utilized, the small bulb on the inside of the headlamp and the side markers are lit. I apologize, when I said "corners" I meant to say "side markers", my bad. It does add a unique JDM look in the end.

actually, i believe sidemarkers are only lit when signaling. *thumbsup*
