Headlights and gauge cluster lights go dim then get bright, bad groud?
Hey guys, i was driving home lastnight and i noticed that my headlights and guage cluster lights would get dim then get really bright. Could this be the result of a bad ground? Or could my alternator be going out? the car is a 98 civic hatch with the stock power plant, any ideas?

That's normal, as long as its only doing it when the radiator fan turns on. My 2000 EX does it everytime the fan kicks on.
If its constantly flickering, then you have an alternator problem.

I think that's just a delay associated with the alternator responding to the extra load. Don't worry about it
