headgasket question... plz help...
ok so heres the problem... i recently did my headgasket and i followed each step by stepp... i finished the car started right up but i have no power at all while driving cars bogs horribly... the car car is not throwing smoke or anything but after a while of starting up my oil leaks from between the head and the blockk. i brought the head to a machine shop to get resurfaced and i did the torque specification to 67 ft pound...... so here is my question... is it possible that the head got resurfaced un evenly?? have this happened to anybody before??? plz help....

thank u for your help on my tread . I recently did a head gasket job on my friends car now. did you follow the 4 steps torque spec? are u using ARP studs or did you used OEM head bolts? , Did you set your timing mark right cuz if not that could be it.

copper spray is your friend, even with copper spray the there still might be some leaks, also if you you are having bogging problems it could be because of the timing, which usually results in you having to do the timing belt again.

Ignition timing should be checked along with mechanical timing. I would blame the used headbolts if everything else checks out.
