Default ------------ Headgasket is leaking, however compression is perfect ------------------

my headgasket is leaking in the front passenger side corner. however the car has 200-215 compression on all cylinders and it does not overheat at all. The radiator fluid is also perfect colored with no oil in it. is this possible? I have no clue if i should replace the headgasket or not. please give advice

yea, i see coolant coming out of the front left and it runs on the tranny and under the car. however, after spending several hours looking at it i noticed a slight haze on top of my radiator fluid. i checked my old motors fluid and it didn't have that haze. so i guess it's a lil bit of oil pooy to my luck

you can easliy have a bad head gasket and a good compression (rings are still good), in order for you to check do a leak test instead of a compression test.

we're going to pressurize the system tomorrow and see where it comes out at. i'm hoping it's just a loose housing or something but i already ordered the 50 dollar headgasket just in case
