headgasket help
dose anyone have the plans to take the head off a singel cam to change the headgasket? its off a d15b2

Remove exhaust manifold, timing belt, lines and wires. drain coolant.
Undo head bolts. Clean everything with thinner and scrape if need be (must be spotless) put on new gasket. torque the bolts. reconnect everything.
Walk away.
or hopfully drive away

your best bet is to get a chilton manual.. unless someone is kind enough to post pages from it on here. there is alot more to it then described in that post. such as how to remove the timing belt.. removing intake mani.. the sequence in removing the head studs, and proper torque values.. BTW you SHOULD get new head studs to replace the old ones.. but most people dont. gl buddy.
