there is a red search link at the top right, this has been covered hundreds of times.
as far as brands go, you get what you pay for.
the 4-2-1 i believe creates better top end, while the 4-1 creates better low end.
im not 100% sure on that tho. but its covered with the red search link at the top right

lol sounds like you should be using the search too.
In general 4-1 is better for top end and 4-2-1 is better midrange. But also the design of the header makes a difference
Things to consider
You'll never really gain a strong midrange. So making a very strong top end is better in my opinion. Plus when racing the revs are usually in the upper rpms any way
Also depends on what kind of header. If you're looking into a DC header. Get their 4-1 as opposed to 4-2-1. But for example in the B-series world a SMSP 4-2-1 will romp all over a DC 4-1 throughout the entire powerband.
I don't know of any big companies really that make good SOHC headers though.

Re: Which Headers style is better???? (SkoundrelUSA)
it depends on the header because there are a bunch of 4-2-1 headers that will provide better gains all over the power band compared to a 4-1 header.

Yeah I wasn't sure if they actually went into production though. I know Dave made a prototype one but I wasn't sure if its in production.

Re: Which Headers style is better????
4-1, honda tunning mag. did a test on the differt styles of headers comparing them and the 4-1 was just a little better. Like 1-2 horse so if the 4-2-1 are alot cheaper go with them because you wont notice 2 horse. But the 4-1 is the better header
