Default Headers for a 97 CX HB with the D16Y7

What headers will fit my car? I cannot find any company online that specifically list headers for my car.

They seem to only list headers for 96-00 ex civics. Will that work?

you could use the ex headers but your going to have to get a ex cat. Or u could run a straight pipe but it will be loud as hell.
I don't think any company makes a header for the 96-00 no vtec civics because they use a close coupled header and cat exhaust manifold.

98 DX Coupe - I have the same problem

As far as I know, there are no headers produced for the D16Y7, because the cat is where aftermarket headers would go, rather than the midpipe on an EX. if you get headers for an EX, you need a new midpipe and cat as well. i would recommend getting a high-flo cat and larger piping, as well as a new muffler
