Default headers for 93 civic w/gsr swap

im new to the scene with a nice sleeper. i want to know what is the difference between 4-1 headers and 4-2-1 headers. im plannin to add a full exhaust system,CAI, skunk 2 stage 1 cams, and some coilovers which headers should i go with? 4-1 or 4-2-1? im not plannin to run my car at the drag strip

Try to find a type-r header for cheap. its 4-1, and will flow better for your motor if you're not gonna do too many mods.

For the most part a 2 piece will add more low end torque and they are usually easier to install. A one piece adds more top end hp. If you aren't worried about serious racing then don't waste your money on a Type R, you won't find one for less than $400. Just get an OBX or some other cheap brand like that. They will get you the 5 hp you are looking for at a fraction of the price.
