Default headers?

hi, im pretty much new here and i got a 94 coupe with the b7 motor. i was lookin at the headers on ebay for 95 bucks shipped, and i can do the instllaion myself. will it kill gas mileage? i love power and would go for a B16 in a heartbeat but i have to drive about a thousand miles per week to go to college, go to my girls place, etc, so im more for some power without sacfricing much gas mileage. most of my driving is on highways, but i do sometimes have some fun so i want some exytra power. thanks

you only have a single header on your car

more power and keeping gas mileage dont mix.

you will sacrafice 1-3 mpg with a header

dont buy the cheap ebay one. i bought one and the flange was welded crooked so i had to throw it away.

does adding headers make acceleration noticable? so far i got an intake, exhaust, 8mm plug wires, grounding kit, and anot of weight reduction on the car. im guessing thats about 85 whp or so.. but gets 40 mpg .

No it isn't.. You probably have 85 HP total from the engine with those mods.. maybe that is what you meant.. who knows
