Default which header would u recommend for a 99 em1

which header is best and is reasonably priced for a 99 em1

greddy sucks, how much are u trying to spend? i read your other post about the cat and u said u were gonna get an exhaust, for a couple hundred more u can boost

so youd rather spend just as much money and get 20 hp when u can get more than 100 if u boosted? doenst make sense to me

a b16 boosted sounds pretty good tooo dunno whether to stay NA or boosted now

if it had more trq i would say n/a but it only has 5 more trq than a d16 so i would turbo.

i was in the same boat as you are currently in. i wanted to stay n/a and now i have intake, header, and exhaust. but now thats not enough power so i am saving up to go turbo....i say save up your money and go turbo.

i think greddy did good for me. aem intake, greddy header,custom exhaust.14.6. web site domeisuru.com for video.

The RMF narrow has been proven to be the best off the shelf header. It goes for around $800

The sparks (SMSP copy) is $600

What's your budget?

Yeah a couple hundred more to boost, but just on turbo parts right?

Yeah I know you can put together a custom/used turbo kit but have it running safely? Even on low boost I still would be skeptical because a good fuel/engine management and tuning is still needed and can end up costing a little more doesn't it?

B/c I was thinking about this as well, and it just doesn't seem to be as "cheap" as people make it seem. Plus daily driving...
