Header Question
Hey guys, I need some advise with a situation....I currently have a DC 4-2-1 header for a D-series, and i noticed that there is a small leak (about the size of a pin head) right where the "tubes" (?) weld up to the flnages that bolt up to the engine (there is black carbon deposit) , and I was wondering if I should worry about it and get a new one or not....I really dont want to have to buy a new header, because I am going to try and get a B-series swap this summer. So should i just buy a new header (if so which is good for the most power?) and try and sell it after I get my swap, or just wait it out...thanks for any help...if anything is unclear, just IM me...thanks!

Re: Header Question (cash459)
if your talking about where the pipes meet the flange that bolts to the block, why not jsut go to muffler shop and let them to weld it? it mighht not look as pretty, but at least you wont have to buy a new one.

Re: Header Question (cash459)
you could prob use jb weld for now, or depending on how long until you get your swap you could jsut deal with the leak.
I would get it welded for 5 bucks if i were you, that way you can sell it later, it wont be worth as much bue if you get a clean weld it wont decrease the value, it will look tacky with jb weld.
