header question....
hey guys. i have a 2000 civic si with the gsr swap just completed. i have a dc b series header but it will not clear th eoil pan on the b18c motor. is there a slight difference in size, length, bend etc from a b16a header to a b18c? thanks

Re: header question.... (cmillertime05)
Your B16A header is too short because the block itself is shorter than the GS-R block, so companies make the header shorter height wise.
Do yourself a favor and buy a header for a Type R - it's the only one that will fit right.
If you buy a GS-R header it will clear your oil pan height wise, but it won't bolt up to your cat convertor because the length of the pipes themselves after the bend to clear the pan is too damn short to reach, and there is no oxygen sensor bung in a GS-R header because the GS-R has both of it's oxygen sensors in its catalytic convertor, unlike your car which has one in the header, one in the cat.
