Default header doesnt fit

i recently bought an ebay header for my hatch with a b18b1. i muffed up and didnt measue the exhaust on my car before i got it. apparently my exhaust is 2.5 and my headers outlet is 2'.
when i went to put it on, it wasnt long enough to meet up with my exhaust. i currently have a dc header and its all beat to ****, which is why i bought a new one.
yeah i know i will get flamed for buying ebay but it was cheap and thats what im going with. so dont flame me.
the flange on my header wont meet up with my exhaust. theres about 6 inches or so of a gap and obviousely that isnt going to work.

my question is, do i buy a header for the gsr integra? being that it is 2.5'? im just confused because im not sure if the ports will be a diffirent size than the ports on the head.

or do i just get a peice of pipe that goes from 2' to 2.5'? i dont think i can do that though because there will still be that huge gap between the flanges...
do i cut the flanges off my new header and put new ones on the peice of pipe? or what? i really just dont know what to do.

any help is appreciated. thanks

The gsr header will not fit the b18 they are different, take it to a muffler shop and have them weld the missing length i.e they can cut the flange off the exhaust and weld the missing length to where they cut. Unless you know someone who welds.

a b18 vtec header is only a little longer and will sit down farther on a non-vtech head. This is because vtec heads are taller.

that's what I thought. Thanks. And yeah that's probly what ill have to end up doing. I just really didn't want to have to pay someone to do it. I know someone who welds but he is, um, questionable to say the least.

Will the muffler shop give me grief for not having cats and ****?

Get a testpipe that will fit. Or cut and weld in a piece
