header for d16y7 or.....
yeah im not really even wanting to spend the money on a header if there is even one for that specific motor but Ive never seen one...is there even one available?
i know as pathetic as it sounds I just want a little bit more low end power would it be cheaper and even perhaps better just to port the factory manifold? just curiousity https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif |

I believe that you would need to purchase a header/cat/exhaust for the ex model to put on your car becuase the cat is connected to the header on the d16y7. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

you are correct, u will also need to extend the wire for the O2 sensor becasue the ex cat is under the car where as the dx cat is in front of the motor. |
Re: header for d16y7 or..... (RedEK)
cool. yeah I knew the cat was connected as to the ex models being farther back
but i figured someone would make something that came all in tact. but yeah thats not all really worth the time and I dont have the time...one more year till b16 swap (crossing fingers) ill just be a slow poke for now |
