header/cat question
hey guys i need to take my car to the shop to get my custom 2.5 piping and muffler welded on. i'm running open header with a high flow cat right now. my header is only bolted to the head because i couldn't get the bracket to fit on the bottom. its a one piece 4-1 header btw. you think it would put too much stress on the header driving to the shop because of the extra weight of the cat?its about 45 minute drive. i hope i made sense. TIA.

Re: header/cat question (JDMeh3)
if your worried bout that, then get a piece of wire like a coat hanger and tie it somewhere. like on the steering rack.

As long as its a good quality header, you should have no problems. Vibration could cause cracks, but if your just going to the muffler shop, I wouldn't worry too much.
