Default Header ?

I have a DC sport 4-1 header for a 99-00 civic si. I dont have that car but I have a jdm b16a so i ordered it for that car to get a b series header. I went to a parts store to get the exhaust manfiold gasket. I put the gasket up to the header and neither the bolts or the pipes line up with the gasket. The only thing I can think of is getting a honda genuine parts gasket. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

what did you order the gasket for if you dont have the car??? my guess is you ordered a bseries header and got a Dseries instead.

I ordered the gasket for 99-00 civic si. I did also verify with DC Sport that I have a header for a b series motor.

I have a 93 hatch si. I have a jdm b16a motor on the way. I am ordering the parts for the engine... not the car if that helps clear things up.

only thing I can think of is the USDM to JDM conversion, because I'm pretty sure the 99-00 Si's use a B16a2, though I'm not positive about that...

Did you try flipping the gasket over? It is not symmetrical, so it will only line up properly in one direction.

if you're 100% sure the gasket was for the B16a, then maybe ur header is wrong?
