Headed To The Tracks With My Si . . .
i have a 99 Si . . .
the mods that i got so far are TRM exhaust system and rota SS with toyo proxes
what would yoo guys recommend me to launch at ?
should i drop the damn clutch or should i ease off the clutch ?
i raced my car plenty of times . . .
my best time is 15.68 when it was completely stock
with the TRM system and rotas i got 15.3s
i'm just trying to see the persepective of how other H-T members race their cars

Um, if you're running 15.3 w/ those minor mods, I think you should be telling US what you're launching at, because you're doing something very right!
Anyway, to answer your question, launching at 4k-4.5k with a quick slip/dump of the clutch usually does the trick for me.

in a 2000 si my good freind with bolt ons and stock clutch and rear gutted ran a 15.1 with stock rims! he now has 1.8L bottomend and is well in 13s! peace
