Default head work on turbo z6..

i am planning on running hondata.. dsm 450's. greddy turbo... 9psi. been thinking about maybe P&P. Port match the intake mani. cam, cam gear, valve springs retainers... blah blah.... local shop said $550 for all the P&P work, and intake mani.... and the other stuff installed. just have to buy the cam, gear, and valve springs etc. that price included 5 angle valve job. this si daily driver... is 5 angle or 3 angle better for my setup? and what cam would you all recomend? thanks

I would suggest a Crower turbo/supercharger cam.
325. They haven't had any SOHC cams brake and they are ground cores, not regrinds.

The 3 angle would better suit your application IMO.

And that is a good deal on the P&P.

EDIT: Don't forget to have the Exhaust manifold port matched as well.

well it is just the greddy 15g turbo manifold? all cast iron i believe. but i'll look into it. what about those "exospeed" cams. i think that is the one everybody loves so much on here, or in the crx forum?

i need to try and get cam and cam gear as cheap as possable... and no that doesn't mean i want to buy poor quality. just find a deal?

I would recommend Ferrea retainers/springs and a ZEX camshaft.

I have a built SOHC with that cam and a Greddy trubo kit (13psi) and I run 12.5s W/slicks. I just recently added nitrous and have ran a best 1/8 of a 7.4@97.5mph
The ZEX cam picked me up 4 tenths in the 1/4.
