Default which head set??

i got a head off of a jdm ef siR. and im getting the head rebuilt and i dont know what head set to use. the 94-95 delSole b16 or the 96-99 civic si b16. does anyone know which one i would use?

There was not 98-98 civic si, only 99-00 (at least with the b16). What is the set-up? Are you going to be using some high compression pistons and the works or are you building the motor for boost? Or is it going to be a stock block?

no i just need to know what head gasket set to buy? the b16a2 or b16a3 to rebuild my jdm b16a head because there was never a first gen b16 in the USA and there different part numbers between the 94-95 delsole b16 and the 99-00 b16 head gasket set.

you would probably be better off asking this in the EF forums, they all have EF9/8 motors
