Head light disassembly
I had a light bulb explode in the head light. I've cleaned out all the glass peices, washed out the head light with hot soapy water and dried it all out but I just noticed a bunch of little glass peices in the bottom of the lense. I tried shacking them out but hey wont come out. The last resort is to take the head light assembly appart. I tried this and broke a small piece of the lense. My question is how do i get it apart!!!! I noticed one other problem the back piece seems to be made of plastic wish might melt with heat. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Re: Head light disassembly (civicrights)
Put it in the oven, depending on if its all plastic or all glass. Try 215 degrees for 10 minutes. Pry metal clips off (if applies). At that temperature the glue for the glass is weak and you can pry the lense off. To put it back together re-reat then mash the lense back on. Do not get the glue anywhere. Then you can add a silicone bead around the lense for extra sealing.
