Head Bolt TRQ for 93 Civic Putting the head back on right now!
I need to know the cold and the warm specs. Do I first start the car when its cold then warm it up, then re trq the headbolts? My Haynes does not cover this very well and I want to make sure that they have the proper head trq specs! 22 when cold and 49 when hot, thats what mine says, Im not sure thats right tho.

NO! NO! NO! Wait until engine is cold, that is the first step. Also, you're wrong about the torque specs. Those torque numbers are not for when the engine is hot or cold, its for a Two Step Process . You first torque it down 22 ft/lbs, in the sequence that you follow in the Helms/Haynes book. Then you retorque it again by 49ft/lbs in the same sequence. After you've done that, recheck it.
