Is the Haynes Manual wrong or am I?
Well, my engine was misfiring so I looked at the haynes manual(*and of course h-t) to see what I should do and replacing the wires/plugs/cap/rotors, etc. Well I checked their wire diagram and it said:
Sorry for the shitty pic, stupid camera. But I bolded all the numbers that needed to be.
Well, I checked my wiring, and for some reason mine wasn the same so I rearranged the wires to look like the diagram thinking that would solve my misfiring. I cranked the car up and it backfired then stalled.. did once again and stalled out again.
So I bought new wires and put them in like the diagram and same thing, backfired and stalled.
I rearranged the wires to the way it was but w/ new wires and it fired up and the misfiring stopped.
Am I missing something or what?
yes.. my engine is dirty and fugly but I used it for proof.

no the firing order is 1-3-4-2 starting in the same spot as the haynes says but it goes in that order ... good luck

I guess you didnt read the errata.
The cap order
1342 with 1 on the side with the timing belt.
