Having a problem getting in gear
I have a gsr motor with b16 trans. welll the other night i was in 1st gear witht the clutch in and car started to lunge forward so i poped it out of gear, now car wont go in gear while car is running...........any ideas what it might be lat me know thanks

bro i have the same fuking problem.so its two people that want to know,and dont waste your time bleeding the clutch that wont fix it i already tried.

start with the clutch fluid, if its full inspect the shift linkage. if both are OK looks like its a clutch problem. |

could be a broken shift fork. which would be internal. thats what happens when that breaks. you can cram the crap out it into 3rd and you can still drive it for awhile.but i would advise against that.

is sounds just like what happened to my friends itr tranny and he litterally jammed it into 2nd. then we had to drive about 30 miles back to his house. still in second gear. |

i dont think its the shift fork because when my car is cold it gos into gear fluids are fine too... im thnking maybe clutch cause when its warm i put it into first push the cluth in it starts to lunge forward im goin to try the shift lingage hopfly thats it again more suggestions maybe something else let me know... and thnks again for all your help https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
