Default having dirty engine bay problems

hey fellaz how's it goin. i just recently got a 92 Si about a month.5 ago. it's my first car and i kinda go stohc vtec crazy. i've been having oil grime all over the place. any reason to why it would get all nastyness?

1. valve gasket leaks
2. oil leaking through the distributor

It might be coming from your axle boots or valve cover gasket. My axle boots broke and fluck grease everwhere and then dirt and grime stuck to it. Clean it all out as much as you can so that you don't see any. Then drive around for a bit and check under your hood. If you see any fesh oil where there was none before you found your prob and fix it. Does it seem like your oil level drops a lot? Make sure you always have oil in you motor or it will brake something.
