Default Have a question about fixing a dented hood?

ok so early this morning i was in my bed sleeping it up, when my bro starts banging on my door....i opened my eye's just enough to see there was no sun, i though damm its hella early? so i jumped up and stumbled around and found some shorts, i couldn't quite make out what he was saying so i continued to stumble around some more until my eyes adjusted. Just as i found a shirt and opened the door to see what the hell he wanted, he was gone. i ran down stairs and herd him say something about my car? I started to panic cause my car was stolen once already...so i ran outside and what do i see.....well i see my car there so i know it's not gone, but somethings not right. By this time im fully awake and i heading for my car, as i get close i notice that my roommates 240sx is ON top of my hood? Ya thats right on top of my hood(i parked in front of him hood to hood under the street lamp). so i run down there thinking he wrecked into me all dumb leaving for work, but to my surprise he standing outside w/o a shirt shaking his head looking at his car. At this point im down where everyone is at and i see all the damage.....originally when i started writing this story we didn't know who did it, but as im writing my roommate tells me it turns out our stupid neighbor's girlfriend was leaving his house early this morning and she hit his car. So to make things worse she didn't have insurance and my roommates car is totaled, me on the other hand got lucky and only the hood suffered damage. Can anyone say "jail time" So back to the question...have any of you H-Ter's ever had any luck fixing a smashed hood? i would say the (smashed) dent is right between the headlights or from one to the other and it go back past here the H is or in my case was...i have a 93 civic sedan any info would help me out since it doesn't look like insurance will cover it. Please no flaming on the issue, just need real info, what tools used, what you did..anything? thanks

most body shops replace the hood all together, you couls bang it out some but chances are itll never look right.

i had someone fall on my hood and i opened it up stood over the radiator and kicked it out...........but thats alot different
