Have a 93eg, want to swap in b18c5, have questions
Yea, ive got a 93 hb and I was wantin to do a swap. Basically I'm wonderin If i should go type r and if its worth the money or what I should go with if it isnt anything and everything would help. What are the huge problems with type R in a hatch or in general and is there something I could do thats a better option.

I have one in my 94 hatch. Change over the motor to obd-1 and run a Hondata setup. That will keep you from alot of headaches with the obd-2 stuff. It was a quick street car with just a bone stock ITR. I beat plenty of WRX turbo's. Just not STI's. Mustang GT's too. Just do your racing at the dragstrip though.

it wont be any problem if you have enough money. cause b18c5 engine costs around $4000~$4500 and some extra money for the parts if u need axles..mounts.shift linkage...etc and also if u dont know how to do the swap job. shops charge somewhere from $500~$700 for the labor to do the swap.
