First: Just ordered a DC ceramic 4-1 header and needed to know about the 02 senor. Has anyone here used one from another engine (mine d15b7) due to the length change. Or do i need to cut, splice, and heat wrap.

Second: Going to re-do the brakes for the new autox season. Have axxis ultimates and going with some $20 rotors. Planning on painting the hat and outside ring section (hate the rusted rotor look), but need some tips on prep work. Using brake cleaner to remove all the shipping oils off the rotor. Thinking of steel wool or a brillo bad to ruff up the section i want to paint. Cleaning then putting in the oven to dry and eliminate all the water. Once cool, tapeing and painting. Using bar-b-que pit flat black from sears for $5. Good to 1200 f. Sounds easy enough but wanted to see if anyone else has played with this. Thanks for all the help. Todd

If the 02 sensor won't reach you can just make an entender peice or order one from DC.

just solder extra wire between the o2 and the harness long enough for it to reach its new location
