Which Hatch to buy?
I'm buying a civic hatch 92-95 to build...what is the best model? I found a few CXs...does that matter? I am going to do a GSR engine/tranny anyway...
THanks!

CX, VX - Same weight.
DX - Little more.
Si - Alot more (200lbs), however, I wish I bought an Si because the interior is much nicer... I have a white CX with blue interior, blah!

I have an Si. I like it alot. Thats the model I wanted originally, I did although want a CX or VX at some point in time, but then after I thought about it an Si is what I really wanted. I love the sunroof and it is needed since it didn't come with A/C (I thought most ppl would have ordered A/C especially around here and in a higher model Si ) It weights more but you can make up for it removing extra weight thats not needed or just making more power

I found a CX for 2500 that I'm going to get tomorrow I think. I cant find a single SI or DX within 300 miles of me.. I dont want a rear wiper, but I *DO* really want tilt. Can I just find a wrecked SI or EX and throw the steering column in?

I hear you! I can't stand the wipers on my VX. There are two speeds....slow and fast.

Re: (dwnthehatch)
For minimum weight i would either choose a CX or a VX, but i like the VX more than the CX b/c it comes with a tach,a little more power to start off with, front lip, and nice lightweight 13" wheels.
For creature comforts i would choose a DX or Si.

f/r sway bars my ***. front only. poor trial user newbie.
I have an Si. I like it. Never cared about being the fastest or this and that so the p/s and moonroof and rear wiper, etc... are nice features. If you're mr big time racer wannabe, get a cx or a vx.

I do like to be fast but I want what I want on my car and that includes the moonroof, cruise, and a/c. The si interior is pretty cool to even though it took a little bit to get used to it.
