Hasport EKK2 mount kit?
Has anybody noticed any real advantages to using the EKK2 mount kit for the ek kswap kits? Specifically for road racing. I think that it will actually give the car a better weight distribution, but I haven't read anything to back this up. Anybody have any input?

Re: Hasport EKK2 mount kit? (Luserkid)
The situation is that I bought an EG with a k20a3 in it. I was looking at putting in a k20a or k24a2, but to keep the cost down I think that I will just use the k20a3 for now. The other reason for using this motor is because I have limited experience on circuit tracks and just really need to get some seat time before upgrading to a faster motor. At least that is what I am thinking.

We had road racing in mind when we designed the EKK2 mount kit. The mounts place the engine further to the rear by about 2 inches for better balance. It also helps with ground clearance and axle angle.
It is probably fairly difficult for anyone to notice the improvement since you would have to have had the EKK1 mount kit in you car previously.
