the rear bumper support weighs 35 lbs. replace it with a BENEN strong bar that weighs 4lbs for support. The rear seat brace which is removable is in 3 pieces. It weighs a little over 15lbs. Dont know about the front. I would think it weighs pretty close to the rear. But I wouldn't remove that one. Weights where done on a UPS shipping scale. Parts were off a 97 hatch.

Right on man.

Ill probably take mine off by then, as well as the mid and front ones.

Hope it wont affect the ridigity of the car *too* much. Im ditching the rear sway bar also.

10.5 LB rims + BFG g-Force drag radials + ~100 LBS lighter then last time out = hopeful 12s

Replace your rear 3 windows with Speed Glass. Stock fitting and looking lexan replacements. Save you another 30 lbs.
