Has anyone incorperated a speaker box into your rear cargo cover?
Hi,
This is just something Ive been thinking about doing.
Ive mounted 6x9's on the rear cargo cover with some good results in friends cars.
Now its time for myself. But I want something more. I want to build a small box on the bottom of the cargo cover.
Has anyone done this?

I don't think the rear cargo cover is strong enough to support a large sub.
My buddy used to have a metro or something like that with one 18" sub in that area... he replaced his cargo-cover with a piece of 3/4" plywood.
You could do it but I wouldn't hack up your stock cargo cover trying to do it.

I allredy have a 6x9 enclosure and my cargo cover and back seats muffle it.
Thanks though
Im not looking for serious knock. Just looking to see if anyone has done it.
I could make the bottom half of the enclosure out of fiberglass. Or cut a piece of 8 abs pipe in half length wise and mount it to the bottom of the cover.
I think im gonna do the abs thing. It wont look too ghetto after I cover it with black felt. hehe

There is no speaker wire that goes to the rear deck.
Not to point out the obvious but you may want to try the appropriate forum.
