Default Has anyone heard the Megan Racing cat back????

I searched and read through the exhaust thread already, but has anyone heard or seen the quality of the m-r cat back?? Looks like it may be pretty loud, but its pretty much exactly what I want.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

THANKS

^^ Yeah the exhaust looks pretty sweet and im sure it does a good job just like the N1 or the hipower......I play golf!!! Golf rules. Ive been playing for 10 months and shoot 80 and 81 almost every round. On a hard course around high 80's, but for 10 months is damn good. I had a chance to break 70 the last 2 rounds but short game is killing me.....and i work on short game around 10 hours a week! Play for the school team and am at the course almost everyday....That course thats in the pic looks real sweet.

My ex-girlfriend had a full Megan Racing exhaust on her 1996 Maxima. It was a GREAT deal for the price! It is rather loud in the lower RPM range, but it sounds nice and deep. It is a good deal if you ask me !

I've only heard of their LCA's. I was expecting a POS Megan "style" tin can. The welds look beautiful and the price looks great. I feel like I missed something, like fine print or a $1000 shipping fee.

nope, I've looked at all their distributors also and they list it for 350 bucks. I'm gonna go ahead and try it out.

hey civic-hatch, dont ever stop practicing, or golf will turn into the most frustrating game ever, trust me

Yeah, I've noticed this exhaust on eBay as well. I like how the muffler, itself, looks. I'm actually trying to find an exhaust that would sound close to the sounds from an exhaust on a WRX or EVO8. I love that rolling, low-deep sound.

Good luck you have a honda..hehehe plus forced induction makes your exhaust sound a little different

I haven't been impressed with their stuff in the past. Two of my friends purchased exhaust components from them and within two months, the mufflers had pretty much burnt out and they were left with a crazy loud raspy tone rather than the nice tone they started with.

Their pretty good deep toned and not raspy, atleast mine isnt.... I like it and what it does for my car... Its not only an ebay thing there were several cars on import magazines that has Megan Racing components. Its a growing company.

O, yeah I know the forced-induction plays a big part in it. I'll have mine. Which is why I'm looking for a muffler for the STi or EVO8 once I go with 3" piping.

It sounds real nice, I got a friend with it on his turbo'd D series hatch and it sounds nice and deep. Not loud over and above anything acceptable.
