You can get the digital for free (read copyright infringement) through links online. You paid for him to download it, burn it and mail it to you.
Get the real thing from http://www.helminc.com, worth its price.

hes selling something that is illegal... all he did was download it and burn it to a cd - it's not too hard to come by either.

ok, then all those manufacturers that we love so much (ie: rota, mugen 'style', type R 'style') on these boards should be reported too, because they are doing the exact same ****, but with a different product.
but thats besides the point. i just wanted to know if anyone has bought it, and there personal experiences.

yeah, actually all those companys who make exact duplicates of another companies design are doing something kind of wrong.
BUT anyways, Do not support this guy!
I'm not one to speak up against anyone using free downloaded/pirated software/books, because I think its extremely helpful for people to LEARN, and as long as they're learning I think it's actually ok.
BUT I draw the line(and think others should too) when someone makes a profit off pirated stuff, thats just wrong and a huge insult
if anything, if you get somewhere good using a pirated product, you SHOULD purchase that product

also using digital helms books is really a bit of a pain in the ***.
like a PDF file book,
all the info might be there, but its alot harder to find it, and alot more aggrivating to navigate through a PDF file than it is to read a book.
buy the actual book, you wont regret it, its well WELL WELL worth it!!

Completely different and not illegal. Besides, they are not peddling someone elses work.

thats what patents are for dumbass
those companies can legally and rightfully copy other companies products if the patent is expired or never existed
its called capitalism and competition and its good for the consumer otherwise everything would be grossly overpriced
and dont buy from this guy whose trying to profit off other peoples copyrighted works.

I'd much rather be able to alt-F (find) my way through a Helm's chapter than worry about ******* up the onion-skin pages with my greasy hands while I fruitlessly search in low-light under my car .

Re: (Archidictus)
I own the book, so I wouldn't feel bad downloading an extra copy to preserve that $50 thin paged thing. I've already gotten oil and dirt on some of the pages. But I'm not gonna pay some pirating jerk to do it for me.
