Never actually did it, but I wanted to and if I did, I'd probably just super glue that ****.

Ya haha, i was reading that some people actually recomend, the 3m ones and say they last forever, if you scuff, and clean the surface before putting the molding on. I just wanted em' since i will be painting my car soon (rustoleum satin black, dont care about bling, read my sig and you'll understand why) and they will be a semi-buffer between that and my car lol!

Most factory side moldings don't do anything, and since you're getting a black car, it won't really break up the lines of the car. I've never seen a factory side molding that protected the car from dents, so what is the real point?

seems like it would be too much trouble to do it oem style... having to drill and open up numerous square holes on the door and quarter panel...
a good bodyshop adhesive should work fine, or just trade your cx hatch for my dx
