Yes, get the HELMS manual and follow the correct sequence in there. Don't even try to do it without the proper documentation to go by...

I've done a head swap and a transmission disassembly on my own (for the most part)...all thanks to my helms

i did one without a manual
but it was at my friends house and his dad is a mechanic
soo yea....
but it is pretty straight forward
just take it off and put everything back on
but yes a helms manual is definately a good thing ot have

IMO, manuals are there for the torque specs.
IMO, you can do just about everything with the crappy Haynes. And it's cheaper.
But I do have the pdf of the Helms, but yet to use it.

yeah, clutch changing, isn't that hard. if you have the tools. take your time, and try not to break anything. a manual will help with the tq specs. thats all you will need.

Yeah I only used the chiltons and did it no sweat, but I also have the helms on pdf like the guy above. Manuals do come in handy when you get stuck but most of the time I just start by unscrewing stuff.

i have done that just take your time and be carefull oh yeah when you bleed the clutch put a rag over the bleed line or use a mighty vac because it will get all over you bumper, intercooler and turbo if you have one. i hate cleaning all of that stuff off.

You can also use the C-SpeedRacing.com pictorial thing to help guide you through it. I love my Helm manual, but as most said I use it mainly for Tq. specs and testing wiring in circuits for certain values. Especially since mine doesn't correlate to my motor
