has any one ever painted there chrome mufflers??
yo whats up, i have a chrome n1 type muffler, and i sorta do not want the bling bling look, has any one ever painted these types of mufflers if so howed it come out? should i paint it or just leave it chrome??

Paint rely's all on prep work.... if you sand that bitch like crazy, and do a good paint job, itll look fine. I recommend using a green scotch bright pad to sand it. Good luck.

Most of my friends, including myself, have flat-blacked our exhausts so they're more low key. It's not hard. Just use a scotch-brite pad to scuff the **** out of it and spray it with flat black self-etching primer or the like. Turns out sweet.

I rattle-canned my ES oval, been fine for like a year, did`nt skuff anything. Just point and shoot
