hard time starting when left in the sun?
my friends 92 civic has a really hard time starting if he leaves it in the sun for over 2 hours, but it cranks right up at night or if its in his garage. Any of you know what the problem could be?

Main relay is under the dash on the drivers side. It's quite a ways up there. Here's how I do them. Slide the drivers seat all the way back, take a flash light and look up there. The relay you are after is roughly 2inches by 3 inches, by 2 inches. It will be bolted to the left side metal of the car. What I do is either unplug the main relay (if you are going to replace it) and the leave the old in there. Or if you want to fix it, unbolt the old one, pop the cover off, and look for the bad solder joint, and yes there will be one. re-solder it, and put it back in problem solved. If you need anymore help with this. PM me

Should be able to get it online at Hondaautomotiveparts.com for around $50, but he should try to fix the old one first.
