Hard start only after re-fuel? (B16A3 2000 EX)
I've swapped a 1995 Del Sol VTEC motor in my 1999 Civic EX. It's ran by an OBD1 P30 with conversion harness. The motor starts fine otherwise, but when I go to fill up on gas ONLY then it has a very hard time starting. When I crank it, it gets to like 200 / 400 rpms and jerks very hard then dies. Almost as if the battery is dead (I just replaced it though). It takes about 4-5 cranks to get it started and it BARELY starts after that. Any ideas?

Just for future reference:

I've figured it out. It's the EVAP purge solenoid. It's pushing the vapors back into the motor and technically cause the motor to be flooded out (this is when the gas cap is released - hence when I fill up only).
The reason this is happening is because I'm running an OBD1 ECU with an OBD2 EVAP system. So the signals are [freak]ed up and it's not functioning properly.
Solution: Find a 1996-1997 Del Sol VTEC ECU </TD></TR></TABLE>
