Is It Hard to install new grill on 96-98 civic
I just bought a new oem rill for my civic cuz mine has been demolished by ******** around my town, i was gonna try and do the diy ctr grill but i like th eoem grill look so i bought another vsm front grill for my civic and i have to install it, is it hard to do, i did some searches but found nothing. Do i have to take the bumper off...if anyone could give me a quick how-to that would be amazing.

you dont have to take the bumper off to put the grille on..but it makes it easier.
There are some screws that hold it onto the bumper and some clips on the sides...thats all. If youre doing it for the first time, Id take the bumper off just so you can see what it is......you'll see once you get that far.

What are you talking about??

Re: (98civicdream)
just go take off your front bumper.. its common sense. See what holds the bumper on.. if its a screw, well unscrew it. It's very simple. Should not take you more than 15 mins.

Re: (98civicdream)
i just pulled the plastic rivet like things from the top of the stock grill.
it should come out.
lift the hood do the above step.
slide it out towards you or however itll come out(very easily)
then slide the new one in its place and replace the plactic fasteners
i found this method most effective
